How's This For Crazy? Two Grandchildren Of America's 10th President Are Still Alive

In case I'm considering presidents who have living relatives, I'm most likely going to begin with the later ones. 

From Chelsea Clinton to Jenna and Barbara Bush, presidential relatives are in reality still in the news and leaving a mark on the world of their own. Yet, once you backpedal past the 1930s or 1940s at the most punctual, I would have expected that the association with any relatives of the president turned out to be more removed. Obviously, I would be totally and absolutely off-base. 

There are two individuals still alive today whose granddad was the President of the United States, and he was conceived before we even hit the 1800s. How? Look at it. 

John Tyler was our tenth president, and he was conceived in 1790. He took office in 1841 after the passing of William Henry Harrison, and he had 15 youngsters. He lived to be 71 years of age, which was genuinely old for the time. 

One of Tyler's youngsters, Lyon Gardiner Tyler, was conceived in 1853 and fathered two kids in the 1920s when he was over 70 years of age himself. Lyon Gardiner Tyler Jr. was conceived in 1924, and Harrison Ruffin Tyler was conceived in 1928, and they're both still alive today. 

To put that another way, Matt Smethurst on Twitter put the greater part of this in verifiable setting, and it's sort of amazing. 

The truth is out. Their dad was conceived before the Civil War. I'll simply give you a chance to sit with that a minute. 

I ponder what they need to say in regards to PDAs! All joking aside, however, it's astonishing that we can in any case converse with individuals who have survived things we've just perused about in history books.
